Ash gets bolder in Pink Panther 2 to take on Brad Pitt!

Aishwarya rai has been in talks lately coz her latest hollywood fick - Pink Panther. The actress is seen sporting a hot and sensuous look as she is all set share space with Steve Martin. It is has been a while since but now all set to show her bolder side.

It has been said that Aish plays just cameo in the film, but the fact is not so. She does not play a blink and miss role in the film but is a criminology expert in the film and has quite a bit to do. She also actually plays a seductress in the film who deceives Steve using her beauty and charm.

Ash’s international film Pink Panther 2 hits Indian Screens on 27th of February. Pink Panther 2 will compete in India with the other Oscar winning film namely - The Curious case of Benjamin Button starring Brad Pitt which is also slated to release on the same day.

Well, its Ash v/s Brad Pitt this weekend! Interesting to see who proves Superior.

"I treasure the experience of working in Pink Panther 2": Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been in talks of late for her so-called minuscule role in Hollywood film Pink Panther 2. Though she admits that she dosent play a major part in the movie but maintains that she she signed it for an enriching experience.

"I didn't work in Pink Panther 2 because it was an international project. I got the script. I happily chose to be part of the film. They shot exactly what I was offered. I don't need to work with stardust in my eyes. I treasure the experience of working in Pink Panther 2.” says Mrs.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The actress attended the film's premiere in New York Tuesday along with husband Abhishek Bachchan. It is a double celebration for the bachchan family. First the premiere of 'Pink Panther 2' and then it is to be followed by Abhishek's birthday Thursday. The couple plans to celebrate his birthday in grand style.

Aishwarya does insignificant role

There has been too much discusison in recent times over Aishwariya Rai's decision to play such a insignificant role in the latest Pink Panther Series. The film is ready for release and our wonderful Ash is quite excited about having starred in it.

When the first posters of the film, Pink Panther 2 were out, Ash hardly even figured in them. One wondered then, why the actress agreed to play such a minor role in a Hollywood film. But the star has broken her silence on the matter and said that the only reason she agreed to do the movie was because she loved Peter Sellers. In fact, Sellers happens to be one of her favourites since she was a kid. She admits that the film did not require her to do much and hence she enjoyed just hanging around and being part of the project. She candidly admits that the project is not about her and she is quite comfortable with that.

Aishwarya Rai features as Sophie Solandres in the upcoming laugh riot- Pink Panther 2 and trailers for Pink Panther 2 have hit the market.

It reprises the adventures of the bumbling French Cop Inspector Clouseau.. When the legendary Pink Panther diamond is stolen again, the inspector joins an international team of crime busters to solve the case, who are as clumsy as he is. They are on a mission to catch Tornado, a super cat burglar who targets historical artifacts.

The new trailer of “The Pink Panther 2“, reveals a little bit of the comedy movie’s plot and many of the tickling scenes are presented. In the more-than-two-minute video. Steve Martin returns to his comical role as Clouseau. He is joined once again by John Cleese as Chief Inspector Dreyfus, Jean Reno as Gilbert Ponton and Emily Mortimer as Nicole Nuveau, while Andy Garcia and Aishwarya Rai pick up the role as Inspector Vicenzo Brancaleone and Sophie Solandres for the first time respectively.

In the sequel, Harald Zwart takes over Shawn Levy’s part as the director. The script is written by Scott Neustadter, Michael H. Weber and Steve Martin. Columbia Pictures will distribute this comedy movie in the U.S. on February 13, 2009.
