Shruti Hassan hopes success with ‘Luck’

Actor Kamal Hassan’s daughter, Shruti Hassan is all set to try her luck at acting with her debut film, Luck. From singer, to music director, to now an actor, Shruti sure seems to be following in her dad's footsteps. She is trying her hand at different things at the same time.

Luck is about human gambling and human betting. It has game shows, people betting, but it’s not for money but on people itself. Shruti has also sung a song in the film, but she is more excited about her action sequences.

The film is been directed by Soham Shah. It also stars veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Imran Khan.

Shruti Hassan to sing in Luck

Imran Khan and his Luck co-star Shruti Hassan go back a long way. Shruti, was a regular house guests in the Khan household at the time when Sarika was based in Chennai and was a frequent visitor to Mumbai.

"I've discussed the idea of Shruti singing in Luck with my director Soham Shah, and he's kicked about it. So Shruti will be singing in Luck. In fact Soham and music director Pritam are having music sessions right now. A song is being designed for Shruti." Said Imraam

What about Imran singing for himself? Not too many people know that Imran sings quite well .
For now Imran is happy doing all the rugged outdoor sports with Shruti Hassan in Soham Shah's Luck.

Well, Shruti is a self-confessed dedicated Messhugah headbanger who takes fancy for black nail polish and army jackets! Man! This 'girl-turning-into-a- woman' is really something! She not just writes her own songs, croons, jams with the tabla and piano, but has also performed at bigger venues than your mind can ever think, venues as big as Whiskey A Go Go, Hard Rock Café etc… to say the least. News also has it that she had almost signed on the dotted papers to star yet opposite the southern heartthrob Madhavan, which didn't quite come through, due to 'creative differences', which only means that the waiting time will be a bit longer for us to cherish the future superstar!
