Vipul Shah flick legally threatened by Warner Bros.

There are several Bollywood Music that is been copied from the west but the trend seems to have reached a full stop. Warner Brothers has issued a legal notice against Bollywood produced Vipul Shah.

The rumours are that Vipul Shah is making a film,and he has neither seeked for Warner Brother’s Permission nor got in touch with Warner Brothers. When the Warner Brothers came to know the detils they decided to take strict action.

The target was easily recognized as Vipul Shah, who had announced Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Action Replay’. Buzz has it that the film was on the lines of Benjamin Button. However, Vipul denies the claims.

He said, “My film is called ‘Action Replay’. It’s based on a play I wrote 14 years ago, no, 15, actually, in ’94. It was registered with the Censor Board of India, and was staged too. More than 200 shows have been staged. And my film does not have a single scene similar to the Brad Pitt-starrer.” About the notice, Vipul said, “No one has spoken to me in this regard.”

Defending his film, Vipul declared, “If I’m guilty, I’m willing to undergo legal punishment. But if they prove the similarity, I would first like to sue them, because their film would then be a remake of my original registered script and play.”

Randhir Kapoor-Aishwarya Rai together

With Randhir Kapoor making his comeback after a long lay off, Bollywood maverick Vipul Shah has penned a role especially for Randhir Kapoor in his latest flick ‘Action Replay’. To make it more interesting the film will bring the two rivals ‘Bachchans’ and ‘Kapoors’ together as the film stars none other than Aishwarya Rai in the lead role.

Vipul is all excited about Randhir Kapoor in ‘Action Replay’. He says "I’m a fan of Randhir and Rishi Kapoor. It was a dream come true when I got a chance to work with Chintuji in ‘Namastey London’. Look at how many wonderful roles and films he signed after that. Now I’m hoping that after ‘Instant Replay’, Randhirji too will be doing more films."

Randhir Kapoor will be seen as a scientist in his engrossing time traveling tale. It is well known that Kapoors and Bachchans have strained relations, with the Bachchan ‘bahu’ Aishwarya Rai and Randhir Kapoor sharing the same space.

One should gear up for a new doze of war-of-words.

Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai to pair together in Action Replay

Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai- the two happening, glamorous and promoshing stars will come together for Vipul Shah’s forthcoming production, “Action Replay.”

Vipul Shah had a fetish for casting Akshay Kumar in all his movies but casting Aishwarya is a rarity. The last movie Aishwarya Rai starred with Akshay Kumar was Khakee.

In Khakee, Akshay Kumar played the role of a policeman. In Action Replay, the movie is more of a period drama genre. The plot is all hush hush but it has been revealed that the setting will be Mumbai of the 1950’s.

“Action Replay will combine a contemporary setting with a period look where Mumbai of the 1950s will be recreated. Nitin Desai will do the set design. He will replicate the time period by constructing roads, cars and houses over six acres of land in his Karjat studio.” Vipul Shah said in an interview to a news daily.
