Barbara Mori teaches Spanish to Hrithik Roshan

Barbara MoriIt's not just fame that Kites has brought to Mexican actress Barbara Mori. She has also learnt English while shooting for the romantic-action thriller and it was none other than co-star Hrithik Roshan who turned teacher on the sets.

Apparently Barbara and Hrithik made a pact. Hrithik would teach Barbara English and Barbara would teach him Spanish while shooting for the movie.

Barbara has picked up enough to conduct herself coherently with the media in Cannes although apparently she would often turn to Hrithik to get the right word.

Producer of the film Rakesh Roshan said, “Barbara knew only Spanish when she started shooting for 'Kites'. That suited us fine since her character is supposed to understand only Spanish. During shooting she needed to communicate with her co-stars and the crew. She was forced to learn English. Now she speaks just enough to make herself understood”.

Kites is being directed by Anurag Basu and also stars Kangana Ranaut in a pivotal role. The film's shooting is over and it has reached editing table. Rakesh Roshan is hoping for an October release.

Something wrong between Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan

Among the current crop of Bollywood actors, Hrithik Roshan is one cool dude who has been long successful in staying away from regular controversies. But time has changed.
Hrithik Roshan -Rakesh Roshan
Hrithik who shares a wonderful relationship with director-father Rakesh Roshan is facing tough times. The father and son had a rift. It started with Hrithik’s closeness to Barbari Mori, following which Sussanne left the house.

The cracks in relationship have been now on the sets of ‘Kites’ too. Rakesh Roshan is known to be a good director but Hrithik seems to have his own take. ‘Kites’ is to be edited and Hrithik wants to have it his way. Rakesh sits on the edit; meanwhile, Hrithik is keen to have his inputs.
Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan weren’t supposedly on talking terms with each other for long, but they recently spoke after months. However, with things still taking time to regain normalcy, Hrithik and Sussanne are living in a posh five-star hotel at Juhu.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali-Hrithik Roshan-Kites

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one director who values discipline. But all his firmness melted when Hrithik Roshan tried his charm on the ‘Black’ director.
Sanjay is all set to kick start his untitled film in the second week of Aprilan it will star Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. But Hrithik is too busy with his home production-Kites and was not so keen to start off a new venture before its release which means that sanjay would have to wait till diwali this year which would delay Sanjay’s movie enormously which is something that he might have not accepted.

But Hrithik’s magical charm did the trick and Sanjay agreed to shift the dates as he did not want to give up an electrifying pair Hrithik-Ash who has spread magic on screen in super-hits -Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar. On the other hand Hrithik is also excited to be work with the versatile director for the first time.

The shooting will start next month, but Hrithik will join the team only after he is free from Kites.

Kites scheduled for Diwali release

Kites is the first film confirmed for a Diwali release. With Karan Johar not making any announcement till date, Rakesh Roshan has put a release date for the Hrithik Roshan starrer movie directed by Anurag Basu. Barbara Mori plays the lead female role.
Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori
Rakesh Roshan wants some portions in the film to be re-shot as a result of which the film might take a longer period of time to release. It should be interesting to see when Yash Chopra decides to announce his film.

In 2007 when Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Saawariya’ clashed with Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’, the makers had exchanged some sour notes.
One will have to wait for other announcements for this year.

Kangana Ranaut working hard on her diet

Who doesn’t want to look better? The latest victim of this look-phobia being Kangana Ranaut in the Bollywood. Kangana Ranaut has put on quite a bit of weight of late. And it has been reported that she has been working extra hard on her diet. All because she believes that she needs to look better.

She remarks on her new look, "I was too thin earlier. And the fact was that I never really took care of myself. But now I have started taking care of the way I look. I am exercising and eating the right food," she adds. And Kangana says that she is glad with all the response and appreciation. "There have been times when I was criticised and I used to feel very bad about it. Things change with time. I am growing up now," says she.

But that's definitely not the only reason the actress is trying to put on some weight. She reveals there is more to it. "I need to look different for a Salsa number which I will shoot soon for my next film 'Kites'. That's a reason too. And let me tell you I am very nervous about it right now," says Kangana. The Salsa will obviously be opposite Hrithik Roshan, who, without a doubt, is the best dancer in the industry. "I think he is very kind," Kangana says talking about the actor praising her recently. It seems she likes Hrithik. Or shall we put it this way that she likes people with muscular physic like Hrithik. And she does agree. "On a personal level I like kind of muscular body," she smiles.

Kangana was recently seen as a model given to drug addiction in 'Fashion' and soon will be seen in 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' directed by Moht Suri. And then she will be seen romancing Hrithik in one of next year's most awaited movies, 'Kites', which is being directed by Anurag Basu.

Hrithik to sing in Kites

So what's common between Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan? Well true, they are all superstars! But there's one more thing common to all of them and its playback singing. All have lent their voice whenever the script has demanded it so.
Now Hrithik Roshan has joined the league too as he recently recorded a song for his upcoming film 'Kites'. It was director Anurag Basu's brainwave to get the actor to sing a song for the film. And Basu vouches for Hrithik's singing capabilities. So here's another feather on Hrithik's already ornate cap.

"When we asked Hrithik to sing for 'Kites', he agreed to it without any fuss. He got trained and has sung very professionally. When you'll hear the song, it'll sound as if some professional singer has sung it. He is quite good at it," says Anurag Basu. But what made Basu try the stunt? "In fact, the scene demanded an actor's voice for that particular song. It could not have a playback singer singing in the background," says Mr Basu.

Music for 'Kites' has been scored by Hrithik's uncle and music-director Rajesh Roshan. The film, which is scheduled to release early next year, has been shot in various foreign locations including Mexico and Las Vegas. The last leg of the shooting is to take place in Mumbai shortly.

Barbara is Threat to Suzanne Khan’s Conjugal Life.

Mexican actress Barbara Mori sizzling hot chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara in Anurag Basu Kites is worth watching. The Roshans may not be talking about their upcoming movie Kites, but the chemistry between Hrithik and Barbara promises to burn the screen.

The Bollywood heartthrob, is having the time of his life, shooting for “Kites” in exotic locales like Las Vegas, New Mexico and Los Angeles. But daddy Rakesh Roshan, the producer and now also the director of the movie, is having sweaty palms because of his son’s raunchy antics. Hrithik, hitherto known to be a perfect gentleman and a wonderful husband is reportedly giving in to the allure of co-actress Barbara Mori.

The stunning shooting locations are heaving a great effect on Hrithik’s mind, and heart as well.Hrithik is enjoying the umpteen “roll in the hay” scenes in the film with Barbara so much, that he is carrying off some of it off screen.

It is believed that Papa Rakesh Roshan was extremely upset with Hrithik’s attitude. News of Hrithik’s closeness with the hot actress was making the rounds in Mumbai too. Rakesh Roshan was annoyed by the development.

Bobby and Anurag are friends, besides being a great team. Anurag appreciates Bobby’s work and gives him a free hand. But Roshan had his own ideas of how the movie should look. He did not agree with Bobby’s style and would interfere in camera angles and light shot etc. Initially Bobby kept quiet as Rakesh is a senior filmmaker an creative differences happen on every set. But as the days went by, Bobby felt his work as a cinematographer was increasingly getting undermined”.

Rakesh had apparently told Bobby to do the shot from another angle But Bobby wanted to try a different angle. Rakesh was furious as Bobby had disregarded his instructions, and made his displeasure clear in front of the entire unit. Bobby felt so humiliated about this dressing down that he stormed off the sets and took a flight straight back to Mumbai.

Barbara, the on screen mistress is proving to be a potential threat to Suzanne Khan’s serene conjugal life. Earlier, Hrithik Roshan was also rumoured to be smitten by Kareena Kapoor. Hope Suzanne learns some moves from Hrithik’s on screen wife Kangana Ranaut in “Kites”, or she will lose the string over her hot dashing husband!

No More Dance from Hrithik

Think Hrithik Roshan and you think twinkle toes. It started with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, where he burst into the scene to introduce a kind of fluid dancing that we hadn't seen in a long time, and never ended.

Audiences could never have enough of his dancing. But now they may have to do without the delights of Hrithik's dancing in some films to come. He is looking at scripts that will not require him to display his superb dancing skills.

The actor first got his knee surgery done at Bangkok soon after completing Jodhaa Akbar. But both the pain and the stiffness persisted.

A week ago, he went to Los Angeles to get a second surgery done. (It's another matter that most people thought he was in LA for the pre-production work of Anurag Basu’s Kites.)

Now, the surgery is over, the swelling is gone too, more or less. But it seems he will not be able to do his usual naacha gana with ease now, without harming the operated-on knee. And no, he has no dancing scenes in Kites.

He is reading plenty of other scripts too. But, besides looking at the meat of his role, his main criterion is, ‘No dancing, please’. Alas.
