Johansson will appear in the autumn/ winter 2009 campaign. She would be replacing spanish actress Penelope Cruz, who has been the image of the brand for the past four seasons. The American actress, who recently dyed her signature platinum blonde locks to a become brunette, will no doubt keep everyone guessing as to what guise she will appear under in the forthcoming campaign.

All set to follow the footsteps of models like Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and Claudia Schiffer she has decided to be fronted with the retailer's advertising campaign at various times.

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, who is the face of Dolce and Gabbana’s luxurious make-up range, is now set to endorse clothing chain Mango.

The 24-year-old will appear in the autumn-winter 2009 campaign, taking over from Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, who has been representing the brand for the last four seasons.

Before Johansson and Cruz, models Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and Claudia Schiffer have done advertising campaigns for Mango.
