Sharing the screen with the one who is a legend, veteran, iconic and a big star is like to win the race for this time around. Hollywood's favourite lover boy of the late 80's and early 90's is all set to share screen space in his first Bollywood film this year alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

Teen Patti's last schedule goes under way in London from next week with Big B and Richard Gere.

What's surprising is that he has seen Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Lal Baadshah after Shetty won the coveted crown of the Celebrity Big Brother.

Richard Gere will be the next big Hollywood star to watch out for in B-town.

Big B slept with Gun

After the financial capital of india was struk by the biggest terrorist attack till date Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan said that for the first time in his life he slept with his loaded licensed revolver.

As the events of the terrorist attack unfolded he did something which he did never before.He had never ever hoped to be in such a situation . Before retiring for the night, I pulled out my licensed 32 revolver, loaded it and put it under my pillow, for a very disturbed sleep.

The superstar said he was glued to the TV screen late on Wednesday night when security personnel battled the terrorists across the city.

Amitabh Bachchan admitted to hospital on B’day

It’s not a Happy Birthday for Big B. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 66 today, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital here after he complained of abdominal pain, hospital sources said. Bachchan was earlier taken to Nanavati Hospital, where X-rays of his stomach and chest were taken.

He then proceeded to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra. He has been admitted under Jayant Barve, who is also his family doctor.

It is reported that Big B was shooting for 'Teen Patti' till yesterday, where he complained of abdominal cramps.

Amitabh Bachchan voted as the Sexiest Asian Vegetarian

He has a secret to his good looks and health even at the age of 60. Inspite of reaching his second childhood, Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly the sexiest man. And People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) agree with this completely.

PETA conducted a survey, according to which Amitabh Bachchan was voted as the sexiest vegetarian male in the whole of Asia. Among other Asian contenders in the running, besides Amitabh, Madhavan was the only Indian contender. Among the Asian female contenders Bollywood actresses like Hema Malini, Kareena Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhry and Vidya Balan were considered. However, it was Hong Kong's singer-actress Faye Wong who was voted as Asia's sexiest vegetarian female.

Amitabh Bachchan takes on Raj Thackeray

Replying to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena supremo Raj Thackeray's remarks against him, Amitabh Bachchan has stated that India is a free country and everyone has the right to live wherever they please.

This is the first time Bachchan has reacted in public against Thackeray ever since the latter targetted him for being more loyal to his hometown, Uttar Pradesh, rather than Maharashtra, where he has been residing for more than 40 years.

Bachchan's statement came a day after a hoarding -- erected at Mumbai's North Central area of Shivaji Park by Thackeray's followers -- made fun of the actor and called him 'Superstar Shetkari.' (farmer)

The hoarding also mentioned that Bachchan, who had donated his Lonavala land to farmers displaced due to the construction of a dam, was demanding the land back, a move that Bachchan had made only the day before.

The actor gave his answer at a press conference for the International Indian Film Academy, of which Bachchan is the brand ambassador. When a journalist asked him to comment on Thackeray's repeated attacks on him, Bachchan said, "The Indian Constitution has given me the right to live anywhere in the country. It is my fundamental right."

Without naming Thackeray, Bachchan said, "Everybody has a right to the freedom speech but I only follow the law of the land, the Indian Constitution and my conscience. Besides that, I don't bother about anything else."

When asked to comment on the Lonavala land issue, Bachchan said, "The case is sub judice and I cannot talk about it."

Big B Signs Up For Toon Movie

We have seen him in various avatars. He has been the Shahenshah, Sexy Sam, Anthony etc. But now superstar Amitabh Bachchan has gone a step further in his bid to reinvent himself. This time he will be seen on screen as a cartoon character.

It is believed that the Big B has signed a deal with an animation company for a cartoon movie. The movie is expected to hit the screen in the next one year. It will be a full-length feature film with a cartoon character based on the Big B. The superstar has been giving a lot of ideas and the script is taking shape. But the production house is yet to find a director for the venture.

The agreement has been signed with the Thiruvananthapuram Toonz Academy, which co-produced the recent Hanuman Returns. Bachchan is said to be very gung-ho about the production and was quite involved in the look of the character in film which will be based on him.

Well, after Priyanka Chopra designed a toon character for Virgin Comics and Shah Rukh Khan lent his voice for the Hindi version of The Unbreakables, the race to leave an animated footprint is on in full earnest.
