Although Shahid and Priyanka’s clandestine affair may be doing rounds in Bollywood, grapevine has it that Piggy Chops’ relationship with Harman Baweja is still a million dollar question???

It is beleived that Priyanka sizzled with none other than Hurman this Diwali. According to reports, Priyanka celebrated the festival of lights with ex-flame Hurman Baweja, rather than her current beau Shahid Kapur. Incidentally, Priyanka and Hurman were spotted together almost after a year at the latter’s Diwali bash.

Said a source, “Harry and Pammi Baweja have their annual Diwali celebration, which goes on till the wee hours of the morning. It also has some B-town celebs attending the party. This year it was a shock to see Priyanka at the party. After her break-up with Harman, she had completely disappeared from Hurman’s life. She even cut-off ties with his parents by not visiting his house. However, she was in touch with Hurman’s sister Rowena, on and off.”

However, it was Harman’s parents who invited Piggy Chops at event. “Although the invitation was given by Harman, it was his parents’ call which got Priyanka to his house. The actress walked in post-midnight and stayed at the party for a few hours”, added the source.

It is believed that Priyanka and Hurman renewed their links during the promotion of ‘What’s Your Raashee?’. Priyanka was like a family member when she was dating Hurman. After their relationship went kaput, she never visited his house. Her attendance at Hurman’s Diwali party sends out a lot of messages to people.

Bips unsecured over John-Vidya onscreen chemistry in Chenab Gandhi

Bipasha Basu was not very comfortable when she came to know that her beau John Abraham is sharing stage with Vidya Balan and she made much effort to convince John to walk out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Chenab Gandhi.

Bipasha has been trying her best to persuade John to step out of the project, but he doesn’t want to back out from this historical venture of Sanjay. The shooting for the film was all set to start in April, but it has now been postponed to December 2009 because of John’s uncertainty.

This delay could just cool bips down but it seems that cracks have started to come in the John-Bips relation as the the couple has again begun to have arguments over this issue

Earlier Harman Baweja was to act in Chenab Gandhi but later he was replaced by John.

Harman Baweja bashes up Shahid Kapoor

Harman Baweja is thought to be a very calm guy but it was not so when the person in question was his ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra. Harman was keeping a low profile to hide his pain as the entire film industry took pleasure in discussing the Priyanka-Shahid love affair.

But he could not take it any more and on Tuesday evening barged onto the sets of his ex-ladylove’s latest flick-Kaminay to bash up Shahid Kapoor for obvious reasons.

Harman had a one on one with Shahid Kapur and also hurled abuses at Shahid. All this happened while Priyanka was getting dressed in her vanity van.

Priyanka ran out after hearing a commotion and ordered Harman to leave the sets immediately. Harman requested Priyanka to keep out of the matter. But Priyanka stood by beau Shahid and asked Harman to get lost and mind his own business.

A deeply saddened Harman left the scene immediately thereafter.

For all those who thought Harman had the guts to bash Shahid up, hang on.

John Abhraham replaces Harman Baweja

It is not good news for Harman as after two consecuitive flops - Victory and Love Story 2050, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to dump Hurman Baweja as the lead actor for his upcoming flick ‘Chenab Gandhi’.

It is believed that John Abraham is the man who would play the lead role in the film. Hurman was the lead actor in the film, but after the poor show in previous films Sanjay seems to have lost trust in the young boy.


If John becomes the lead actor in the film, this is going to be actor`s fourth film with Big B after Viruddh, Aetbaar and Babul. ‘Chenab Gandhi’, also stars Vidya Balan as the lead actress. The film is expected to have a budget of Rs 35 crores.

Aamir loses a role as he cannot play a young boy

The perfectionist finds no place in Sanjay Kapoor upcoming film - It's My Life. It's My Life is a remake telugu film Bommarillu. Sanjay has roped in Hurman Baweja for the lead role instead of Aamir Khan because the senior actor would not have fitted the character of a young boy.

Aamir Khan had played the role of a college boy in Rang De Basanti and Dil Chahta hai.And he did it with ease and made the movies successful. He is now doing the same in Three Idiots as well.

But Sanjay thinks otherwise. "You should be looking at what is your story trying to tell. For It's My Life', the role required a young boy. Now obviously Aamir Khan wouldn't have fitted in there. “Sanjay told.

Inspite of two back to back flops Harman gets the film and not the genius. This definitely shows the confidence sanjay has on Harman. He would be sharing screen with the cute babe- Ganelia D’Souza who had also played the led role opposite Siddharth in Bommarillu.

There have been many rumours of the couple ending on the splits ville, but this coy remark from the actress should put things on 'back on track.

Who is that so called Mr. Guees? It can be noted that the actress has recently made a declaration that Harman was and will be special for her.

Harman going Restless

Harman Baweja has found himself quite in a soup of late! The actor who’s the most sought after despite a failed debut film is trying hard to make himself free for Bhansali’s film Teen Patti as well as Gowarikar’s What’s your Rashi!

What has got the actor restless and anxious is the delay in his film Victory . The ongoing shoot has left him with no time for discussing scripts or starting other films that he has on hand. A friend close to Harman revealed, “Harman’s Victory was supposed to have wrapped up some time back but due to reasons unknown the director has been taking a little too long to finish the film and that’s why its getting a bit messy for the actor to handle his schedule. The actor is scheduled to leave for Dubai soon to finish the film based on cricketers.”

Harman’s first film might have been a failure but we hope his forthcoming films help him establish himself in Bollywood and prove his worth. And with Bhansali’s and Gowarikar’s films in his kitty, Harman might just get lucky!

Brett Lee enters Bollywood

Australian cricketer Brett Lee is all set to enter Bollywood with the movie “Victory”, starring Harman Baweja in the lead role.

Besides Brett Lee, a handful of other cricket players like Australians, Brad Hogg, Stuart Clarke and Mike Hussey and Indians, Yusuf Pathan, RP Singh and Pravin Kumar have cameos in the film.

Harman Baweja plays the role of a small town boy who makes it big in the world of cricket and Brett Lee plays himself who helps Baweja’s character achieve his dreams.
On working with newcomer Harman Baweja, Lee says it was a whole new experience. “It was a lot of fun. We helped each other out throughout the movie. I taught him a few shots while he gave him me acting tips,” he recalls.

Apart from claiming wickets, Lee shares a passion for music. In the past he did a song and music video for legendary singer Asha Bhonsle’s album.

Next on the anvil, Lee is adding finishing touches to a music video. “There are six to seven songs in Hindi and in English in the album. I had been working on it with friends for the last six months,” he reveals.

Harman shocked by Kareena!

Harman is shocked on hearing some reports that he has made uncharitable statements against Kareena’s acting abilities.

“I’d never speak like that about anyone, least of all someone who’s a senior and was gracious enough to work with me when I was just starting out. That she finally opted out of Love Story 2050 doesn’t take away from the fact that we got along really well,” says Harman.

The remarks attributed to him about Kareena being ‘robotic’ in her performances had Harman so upset that he apparently was not seen on the social circuit for a couple of days.

Harman’s agony ended on Wednesday when he was in Delhi for an event for Love Story 2050. On an impulse, he sent a text message to Kareena telling her that he felt awful about the words that people claimed he had spoken against Kareena.

Apparently, Kareena, who is in the US shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambhakt Ishq, replied back in a long heartfelt message saying she has been a part of the film industry long enough to know how such things work.

Apparently, she ended the gentle and sensitive message by assuring Harman she had no ill-feelings towards him and was looking forward to seeing his film.

A source close to Harman says, “Harman has never badmouthed anyone. That’s not his upbringing. Kareena is a huge star and a friend.

Who is Harman to talk like that about her? Emotional that he is, Harman was really disturbed. He even told his father, Harry Baweja that if this is the kind of demolition job the rivals and opponents are going to do with him, he’d rather not be a star.”

Harman can’t keep the relief and joy out of his voice. “All I’ll say is, I’d never talk like that about anyone. Kareena is someone I truly admire .And if people want to spoil my relationship with her, let them try. It won’t work,” he says.

Gulshan & Harman Hugging???

Passers by on Sunday night were rather shocked to see two good men one of them dressed in bright orange suite and the other in shiny brown suit hugging right in the center of Haji Ali signal.

On closer look we found it was Gulshan Grover and Harman Baweja. And the reason for them hugging in the middle of the night was the 23 times retake they were giving while shooting for Manmohan Shetty's new film 'Victory' For all those who came in late, Victory is based on cricket and Harman is playing Dhoni while GG is playing a character loosely based on Mark Mascarenhas (cricket star maker). And last Sunday they were filming some celebration scenes in Haji Ali.

And when the scene was perfected, director Ajit Pal was heard joking "We have to get this shot right or we have to call Priyanka Chopra and tell her you are enjoying hugging Gulshan ji more than her". Hopefully Priyanka will take it at the right spirit!

Harman Baweja had the ride of his Life

Harman Baweja had the ride of his life while shooting for Love Story 2050! While shooting for the film at the famous Salt Lake in South Australia, he rode the bike at about 170-180 kms per hour for a scene.

When contacted Harman Baweja relates, “The brief given to me was that I was supposed to be filmed like I was emerging from a dot. For that they required me to approach the camera at a high speed. I went as far as I could from the camera, so that I could make an entry on my bike with gusto. I was given a walkie-talkie to follow the instructions.”

However, things deviated a bit from the plan. Salt Lake is a huge vacant plain of about 180 kms. Harman was so focused on riding his bike that he went further ahead than required. Also because of the distance, the walkie-talkie lost network. Informs Harman, “I must have zoomed about 240 kms away and then I began my ride back. Since there was no one around, I thought that driving back at 80 or 100 kms per hour would take longer, so I started speeding up. But deep inside I was very scared, so much so that to hold myself I closed my eyes for two minutes while riding the bike. When I opened my eyes, I realised that I was actually driving my bike at 180 kms per hour. That's when I experienced an adrenaline rush and started enjoying my ride. I was holding my breath and flying through. This experience was completely a different thrill altogether.”

When asked if he will attempt to repeat such a stunt again, he said, “No. It’s not possible again. Such things happen just once in your life. Also, I can never do it in Mumbai, if you blink your eye even for a second while riding a bike even at normal speed, you face a threat to your life, forget getting away with closing your eyes.”

Harry Baweja, the director of the film and Harman’s father says, “Harman has shot an excellent take. He had gone so far that we had lost touch with him on the walkie-talkie and we could not communicate with him. But when we saw him returning, as was required in the shot, he appeared like a small dot, which kept on increasing as he approached the camera. The shot looks mind-blowing and in fact, it looks like a mirage in the film. However, later, when Harman told me about the speed, I was taken aback. But Salt Lake has nothing around it, so I guess it was all fine at the end of the day.”

Harman Annoyed of the Comparison with Hrithik

Harman Baweja, who is debuting with the much talked about 'Love Story 2050', has been taking the comparisons with Hrithik Roshan on his chin.

At his music launch last week when someone shouted 'Hey Hrithik' at him from the crowds, Harman smiled and said, 'Can't help the way I look. It's what my parents gave me.'

But Harman and his father Harry Baweja have decided to avert any more comparisons with the 'Krrish' star and also curb the unnecessary digs about Harman's glamorous girlfriend Priyanka Chopra.

Since it was felt that Harman even sounded like Hrithik, Harman's dubbing for 'Love Story 2050' is being done under strict supervision by a female voice expert who sits with Harman. The film is releasing in July.

'She listens to every word that Harman dubs. And if anywhere he sounds like anyone else, she immediately corrects him and makes him redo the dialogues. For this reason, Harman's dubbing in 'Love Story 2050' has taken a painfully long time. No actor has taken so long to complete his dubbing. A month away from release and Harman is still dubbing!'

Souces close to the Bawejas say, 'Harman is not the least conscious or worried about all the comparisons with Hrithik. They started when Harry Baweja decided to launch his son in a futuristic film.

'Everyone jumped to the conclusion that it was another 'Krissh'. Then to make the comparisons even stronger there was the Kareena Kapoor factor. She had opted out of Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaho Na...Pyar Hai' after a few days of shooting. The same happened with Harman's 'Love Story 2050'.'

More worrisome to Harman is the way Priyanka Chopra's presence in his life is being seen as a calculated move to gain mileage for the film.

Sources Say, 'Harman has a great deal of self-respect. He'd never want to be known by being associated with anyone else more famous and recognisable than him. In fact Kajol and Ajay Devgan were supposed to launch the music of 'Love Story 2050'. Harman's father decided against it at the last minute.

'Harry Baweja in fact rang up his colleague Kumar Mangat and advised him not to allow Kajol and Ajay's presence to overshadow his daughter at the music launch of 'Haal-e-Dil'. That's how self-respecting the Bawejas are.'

It hurts Harman to have his name being constantly mentioned with Priyanka.

Sources say, 'He has now decided to seriously cut down, if not entirely do away with, public appearances with Priyanka. Of course, she will be part of all the 'Love Story 2050' promotion. But Harman is refusing offers for magazine covers and guest appearances on reality shows with Priyanka.'

Enough Buzz about Love Story 2050

Love Story 2050 is said to be first of its kind in bollywood as sci-fi has been too much used to create buzz about the film.
And Harry Baweja has spent sleepless nights to get the right look for his sci-fi movie. And going by the buzz the first look of his film's leads – son Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra – has created, his efforts seem to have paid off, at least till the film releases.

Priyanka Chopra sports a rather unusual red hair and carries a pink teddy sporting a blue mohawk hairdo. Harman's look is complete in a well-fitted, leather-like tee and pants along with heavy boots and biking gloves. And all the fashion prediction is the brainchild of designer Thea.

"We spent more than six months trying to figure out the right look. The idea was to give them a look that people could imagine and relate to in the future. We didn't want them resembling aliens or looking as if they've landed from Star Trek. The film is set in the future, but it's not about space travel," says Baweja senior.

Only the time can say what sci-fi effect comes to the audience after the movie hits the silver screen.
