Cheryl Cole finds X Factor judge Simon Cowell rude and annoying

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she finds her fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell “nasty, rude and annoying”.

The Girls Aloud star spoke about the increased “friction” between her and the music mogul, adding she finds it tough to keep a lid on her temper when the cameras roll.

“There is tension between us on the actual Saturday night, when he starts getting annoying and saying nasty things,” said Cole.

“It gets really heated backstage, and quite competitive.

“I don’t feel like I’m a competitive person. I feel like the best person should win The X Factor, whether they’re in my category or not. But he’s so competitive and so rude sometimes that I find myself getting caught up in it.

“Honestly, he’s really annoying. Really annoying,” she added.

Cheryl Cole sick with solo career fear

Popstar Cheryl Cole, who is busy judging artists on TV show X-Factor these days, wakes up in the middle of the night "sick with fear" about her own solo career.

The ‘Girls Aloud’ singer, who will release her debut solo album ‘3 Words’ later this month, is terrified of stepping into the spotlight without her bandmates.

"The thing is, for the past seven years the other girls have been my safety blanket. If I forget my words on stage or something, there’s always four other girls that can pick it up. Now I’m completely on my own. I wake up in the middle of the night sick with pure fear going, “What am I doing?," Cole said.

However, the 26-year old singer feels even though she is frightened, she wants to challenge herself by heading for a solo career and wants to pursue a venture on her own.

"Girls Aloud is becoming a bit too normal. I need a new challenge, a kick up the bum. It’s good to feel frightened.

Being out of your comfort zone isn’t always a bad thing," she added.

Cheryl, who is married to English footballer Ashley Cole, is set to release her first single “Fight For This Love” on October 19 followed by the album “3 Words” on October 26.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has become the new face of L’Oreal after bagging a lucrative deal from the French cosmetics and beauty products brand.

Cole will lead the L’Oreal campaign in the UK and she will start with promoting a hair product called Elvive Full Restore 5.

Sky News quoted Cole as saying: "I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase: “Because you’re worth it’, so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing."

L’Oreal executives believe roping in the star would enhance the popularity of their products.

Cheryl Cole gets huge pay rise on The X Factor

Cheryl Tweedy Cole has got a humongous pay rise after she gave the ITV show ‘The X Factor’ a huge ratings lift in the last series.

She will now be paid a staggering 1.2million pounds, up from 800,000 pounds.

Her new pay deal is a reward for her key role of winner Alexandra Burke’s mentor, and for helping viewing figures soar.

“Cheryl is the nation’s darling,” said a source. "We may be living in the toughest economic times in decades, but when someone helps a show pull nearly 15 million viewers - as on last year’s X Factor final - then you have to pay to keep them on board. With the huge pay rise, Cheryl, 25 - wife of Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole - will earn almost three times as much as her rival judge Dannii Minogue.

British actress Kelly Brook has been voted as the Sexiest Celebrity Body. Kelly has beaten Hollywood beauty Megan Fox to be named the celebrity with sexiest body.

Brook, known for her curvy figure, topped the poll of over 1,500 UK men.

Megan Fox followed her in second place while Angelina Jolie came third ahead of Girl’s Aloud star Cheryl Cole.
