Himesh Is Choice of Aliens

The singing sensation is a “point man” for extraterrestrials and is also most likely to start a new religion in their honour. Mahadik, the author of Udan Tashkari: Ek Unsuljhi Paheli , has been following Himesh's music closely as he has devoted more and more time to UFO-spotting and says he is sure aliens are using Himesh as their representative on Earth.

He further said “Himesh is now becoming a point man for contact with extraterrestrials. None of the experiences I’ve seen are in the same category of what Himesh appears to have experienced. Himesh could easily disappear and then come back as an ambassador for their race."

Mahadik also said that the ultra super sonic frequencies generated by Himesh's high pitched nasal singing is another reason for Himesh being the likely choice of aliens. Mahadik believes it is only a matter of time before Himesh is beamed into space, but insists the ‘Aap ka Suroor’ singer needs to consult scientists to prepare for any close encounters of the third kind.

Ramp model Shruti Agrawal is Himesh’s Next Find

Be it Aap Ka Surroor - The Moviee or Karzzzz, debutants got lucky when casted opposite Himesh Reshammiya. . And now his upcoming film, Hhey Gujju has another new face in Shruti Agrawal as a lead opposite him.

Hhey Gujju is a romantic-comedy flick directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Studio 18. Shruti Agrawal plays an NRI girl who comes to India and falls in love with Himesh. Shruti has been a known face in the modeling world and has also attended Anupam Kher's acting classes.

Director Satish Kaushik says, "Since Himesh is playing double role in the film there are two leading ladies, one of them being Shruti Agrawal who has graduated from Anupam's acting class and has been a model too. We have an actress from the south as the second leading lady.”

"Studio 18 and Himesh had asked me to direct the film. It was Himesh who decided the name of the film. After working with him in Karzzzz, I have realized his potential as a singer, composer, and as an actor. I think he is phenomenal and perfect for the part. It is a fun filled comedy film, which was mainly shot in India and abroad. Please do not ask me the story as that's something I really cannot reveal," adds Satish Kaushik.

When asked about the music Satish Kaushik says, "The music of Hhey Gujju is completely different from Karzzzz as it will have a very Gujarati flavor to it. Himesh has also composed a 'dandiya' number as well."

The film will go on floor in November 2008

Himesh in love with Urmila's Daughter

Now this one is quite some twist in the tale even as the release of KARZZZZ is less than 50 days away. In what is possibly nothing less than a shocking revelation, the news has just come in that Himesh Reshammiya's upcoming film KARZZZZ has seen a change in plot when compared to the Rishi Kapoor original. In the Subhash Ghai classic, Raj Kiran was shown to be in love with Simi Garewal and was born as Rishi Kapoor in his next birth, only to fall in love with Tina Munim and then take revenge from Simi. However, in the upcoming remake, the twist in the tale is brought about by the character who plays Himesh's love interest. That's because here, Tina (played by debutant Shweta Kumar) turns out to be none other than Kamini's [Urmila Matondkar] foster daughter. In KARZZZZ, there were certain elements which had to be made a little differently. So there is this situation where Himesh is in love with a girl who is his tormentor's daughter. Even though Tina isn't Kamini's biological daughter, Monty here still is in love (albeit in his new 'janam') with the daughter of the wife of his previous 'janam'. Quite a 'janam janam' situation here which is bound to create dilemmatic situation. However rest of the plot has been left untouched. It is the same Sir Juda (Gulshan Grover) who has an evil eye on Ravi Varma's [Raj Kiran] mansion, the same Kabeera [Danny Denzongpa] who helps Monty in unearthing his past and the same mother-daughter pair who form the thread which ties the two 'janams' together. Also starring Rohini Hattangadi, Bakhtiyaar Irani, Raj Babbar, Asrani and Dino Morea in principal roles, KARZZZZ is confirmed for a 17th October release.

Niharika singh dubuts opposite Himesh in A Love Iiisshtory

Niharika Singh is no stranger to fame. At the age of 21 she won the Ponds Femina Miss India Earth pageant. She is now debuting opposite Himesh Reshammiya in John Matthew Mathan's 'A Love Iiisshtory'.

Not only that, Himesh has also decided to cast Niharika in his next film 'Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke'.

And it isn't just an ordinary you-sing-I-dance kind of routine debut for the model-turned-actress.

Niharika plays a young prematurely affluent millionaire with enough money to buy her own private jets in all her favourite colours.

'I don't know how it happened,' Niharika laughs. 'I never tried for the role, never approached anyone. I never even thought I was eligible. One fine day I got a call from the director asking me to see him. I think Himesh and John must have seen my ads,' Niharika told IANS.

Niharika is at the moment preparing fiercely for her part. 'I'm attending Barry John's classes every evening to prepare myself before the shooting starts in April. But this period between being signed and facing the camera is excruciating. I don't know how other debutantes cope with the waiting period. I'm going nuts.'

The role requires Niharika to play a standoffish no-nonsense heiress who deals with billions across the table and has forgotten how to have fun.

'I play an heiress who doesn't enjoy wealth...until this street-smart dude played by Himesh enters her life. It's actually like playing a female Vijay Mallya, though much cooler than him.'

So what does the heiress do to have fun? 'Listen to Himesh Reshammiya tracks, I guess,' Niharika laughs.

'It's a challenge to play a haughty heiress because I'm nothing like that in real life. I'm a very middleclass girl with values to match. And if Himesh and John think I can carry off the female tycoon's part (earlier attempted by Sridevi in 'Laadla', Priyanka Chopra in 'Aitraaz' and Bipasha Basu in 'Corporate') then I guess I must be good!'

An out-of-towner with no connections in the entertainment labyrinth of Mumbai, Niharika arrived in the city five years ago with her kid sister Garima.

'My father who's in the tourist department of Uttar Pradesh trusted me enough to let me be in-charge not just of my own life at that early age but also to take care of my sister's future. I wish more parents in our country would trust their daughters as much as they generally do their sons,' says the 25-year old actress with endearing spunk.

So is she a fan of Himesh's tracks? 'Who isn't? I love his music. Sadly I can't sing in his voice in my film.'

As an after-thought she adds, 'There're two Johns in my life right now...John Matthew Mathan and Barry John. Now all I need is John Abraham. Maybe in my third film. Who knows! Right now I'm just excited about two films with Himesh.'

Himesh Reshamiya seeks Rishi Kapoor's blessings for Karzzzz

Himesh Reshammiya is not taking any chances.

After the disastrous fate of remakes like J P Dutt'a Umrao Jaan, and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, the singer-turned-actor is making sure that his second film, Karzzzz -- a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1980 film -- starts off on a good note.

He has decided to seek the blessings of Rishi Kapoor, who starred in the original, before leaving for the film's 45-day shoot in South Africa on January 25.

According to sources, Ghai may also give his blessings for the new film.

Himesh has already composed eight songs for the film, including a number from the original.

Producer-director Inder Kumar's daughter, Shweta Kumar, will make her debut in this film. She will play Tina Munim's role. Urmila Matondkar will play Simi Garewal's character in the remake.

The film also stars Raj Babbar, Danny Denzongpa and Gulshan Grover, and will be directed by Satish Kaushik.

Emraan Hashmi to join Himesh Reshammiya in Karzzzz

Himesh Reshammiya may be trying very hard to keep the cast of his next film, Karzzzz, a secret. But if sources are to be believed, Emraan Hashmi is the latest to join the cast.
He will play the role which Raj Kiran played in the original Karz.

As for the rest of the cast: Danny Denzongpa will play Pran's role, and Feroz Khan will play Premnath's role of Sir Judah. Urmila had already been finalised for Simi Grewal's role.

Though discussions are on in full swing about who will play Tina Munim's role. But if grapevine is to be believed, Kannada actress Jennifer Kotwal has been roped in already.
