Ranbir-Farhan in place of Ajay-Saif in Aparna Sen’s ‘Gulel’

Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar will be teaming up for their next venture. Both the actors have been roped in for Aparna Sen’s Hindi directorial debut- Gulel.

The film was to go on floors earlier with Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan. Both the actors backed out of the project, and Ranbir and Farhan have been taken on board in place.

After Ranbir was confirmed for ‘Gulel’, Aparna was of the perception that she needed a more jolie actor to take Saif’s place and she chose thought of Farhan. Farhan was initially not keen on doing the film but finally arpana was able to convince her.

Hrithik mobbed by Fans

Hrithik Roshan who was making a special appearance in the movie, Lucky By Chance was mobbed during its shooting. The crowd went out of control on spotting him at the shoot of director Zoya Akhtar’s film Lucky By Chance. As a result Zoya had to cancel the shoot, which was to take place at Khar Danda in Mumbai.

Some fans were so excited that they started throwing mineral water bottles at Hrithik. He had to literally flee from the venue as the crowd chased him even as he drove away.The excitement of the crowd in India can sometimes reach dangerous levels.

The scene in question involved Hrithik driving a car. They shot the scene after a few days at some other location. Zoya confirmed the incident and said, “Hrithik was mobbed. It was very scary. However, we completed the shoot and did not have to change the venue.

Lucky By Chance stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in lead roles. Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Juhi Chawla, Hrithik Roshan, Isha Sharvani and Sanjay Kapoor make special appearances.

Farhan Akhtar is the brand ambassador for Maruti's A-Star

If the success of Rock On was any indication of what Farhan's new-found fans are all about, then, its only about time that Maruti should surely follow our advice and make ample cars as the 'demand' will be more 'rocking' than the 'supply'.
