Cheryl Cole becomes new face of L'Oreal

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has become the new face of L’Oreal after bagging a lucrative deal from the French cosmetics and beauty products brand.

Cole will lead the L’Oreal campaign in the UK and she will start with promoting a hair product called Elvive Full Restore 5.

Sky News quoted Cole as saying: "I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase: “Because you’re worth it’, so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing."

L’Oreal executives believe roping in the star would enhance the popularity of their products.

Gayle Tait, L’Oreal Paris general manager said: "Cheryl is a glamorous, stylish and talented young woman whose warmth and charm has captivated the nation and helped to establish her as an inspiration to women throughout the UK."

Freida Pinto is the new face of LOreal

Freida Pinto and Evangeline Lilly are the latest faces for cosmetic giant L’Oreal. Opposite to the expectations that Freida would be the face of Estee Lauder, the actress has been choosen to be the face of L’Oreal qand is excited to be so.

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of,” said Freida.

And the other A-lister, to step in front of the lens for L’Oreal, is ‘Lost’ star Lilly.
“It is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person’s aspirations to beauty and contribute to the fulfillment and well-being of everyone,” said Evangeline Lilly.

While there have been persistent Internet rumours that the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star would be the face of Estee Lauder, Freida has said that she is excited to be the face of L’Oreal.

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of,” said Freida in a statement.
