Mariah Carey blames marriage for weight gain

Singer-actress Mariah Carey blames her happy marriage with American actor-rapper Nick Cannon for her recent weight gain.

The singer, who has gained weight over the past few months, is so content with her husband that she is regularly eating fatty food.

"I love to eat. I never knew I could be this happy after marriage – it’s pure bliss," she said.

Mariah Carey to star in a Play

Mariah Carey is all set to star on London’s West End. The singer has been in the British capital for a series of meetings with a top theatre producer who has now offered her a 15,000-pound-a-week contract.


The actress is expected to make her stage debut next spring. Mariah’s done a bit of acting in her time but nothing on this scale.


Mariah has always wanted to star in a play so this really is a dream come true. She seems to be hugely flattered and is determined to nail the part. The actress seems to be pretty confident of her own abilities.

Mariah Carey auctions rare designer gown

Mariah Carey is auctioning off a rare designer dress especially created for her to raise money for breast cancer research.

The Hero singer is supporting charity Susan G. Komen for the Cure to sell a hot pink, asymmetric fishtail gown on auction website eBay.com.

The couture dress is one of only three in the world and was made by Julian Contreras after Carey asked fans to send in fashion designs inspired by her perfume, Luscious Pink.

Ever since the gown has been up for sale, fans are clamouring to get hold of it and have already quoted a price of 5,600 dollars, while there are still five days for the bidding to close.

The item was listed with a starting price of 500 dollars.

Mariah Carey has sleepless nights

Singer Mariah Carey is having sleepless nights. And in order to pass time, the stunner watches her husband Nick Cannon doze peacefully while she is wide awake.

Mariah is not the only celebrity to have sleepless nights. Robbie Williams often finds it difficult to get a peaceful sleep.

Salma Hayek had also revealed in the past that after she had given birth to her daughter Valentina Paloma, she didn`t sleep for six months. Salma said: "I don`t even remember what my life was like before. I can tell you that I don`t sleep. This is a cliche but it`s true. I haven`t slept in the last six months.
