Nandana Sen is ambassador for NGO RAHI

Nandana Sen is in the mood for charity. She has now been signed up as the Cause Ambassador for an NGO called RAHI. She will be in charge of raising awareness of the widespread trauma of child abuse, and working with its survivors.

Talking about her 'role' in this association, she said, ''Healing is often harder for men than it is for women. For males, the biggest obstacle is their reluctance to talk about it. In our society, men have been conditioned to believe by definition that they must always be aggressive rather than helpless. Since a 'real' man is expected to never accept he could be a 'victim,' men fear that acknowledging their trauma would threaten their masculinity.''

She also exhibited her stand on the dreaded issue by stating that the hiding the pain of the victims' abuse often leads to male survivors experiencing great confusion over their sexual identities and orientation.

For starters, she has just wrapped up a UNIFEM-sponsored short film called Chuppee, which deals with the subject of the sensitive topic of child sexual abuse.

"I did my end of school project on global warming and Hurricane Katrina. My car is electric, I recycle, I take public transportation, I try not to buy and drink bottled water. I`m not perfect, but it`s something I feel strongly about,” said Emma.

A spokesman for Greenpeace revealed that Watson would be just perfect as an ambassador for the organization. "Emma would be perfect for us. She`s posh, pretty, brainy and committed. She`s also not too star struck to care if it`s seen as vaguely controversial. She would really help,” the spokesman stated

Rani Mukerji out of fanta ad campaign also

Rani Mukerji is losing her fizz of late. She has been out of action for long. And she is now been taken out of the ad campaigns too. After losing her place in ‘Titan Raga’ campaign, she is also been thrown out of the ‘Fanta’ advertisement.

There are several reasons for the replacement. It is said that Rani’s frivolous ways and the dominating attitude the major causes behind her downfall. She has almost stopped doing films except for Aditya Chopra’s and to make matters worse her past ventures have not done to well at the Box Office and to top it all she’s keeping away from the media for unknown reasons.

It seems Mukerji's decreasing visibility in the public eye has started taking a toll on her endorsements. It can be said that the one time spice girl is fading in the public memory.

Amul takes advantage of Aamir's Ghajini

One may remember that 2008 happened to be one of the 'impactful' years for Bollywood. It saw the transformation of the chocolate hero Aamir into a muscular 'dude with an attitude' in the smash hit film Ghajini.

It is needless to say that the Ghajini mania is spreading far and wide. And for those who thought that it was only the media that worked faster than the speed of light, then, one must better think again, because there's someone who works even faster than the proverbial speed.

And that's none other than the super brilliant guys at Amul, who wasted no time in bringing out their latest ad campaign that has Aamir Khan's cartoon in his 8-packs with scribbling on his hands and body which read as 'I slice bread'', ' I make sandwich', while his chest reads 'Get Amul'.

It is indeed an interesting ad. But the guys at Amul should also remember that one may forget to breathe for a moment, but how can one forget Amul.

Asin replaces Gul Panag

'Ghajini' girl Asin is the new Tata Sky girl. She has replaced Gul Panag. The new ads will be aired around the 'Ghajini's' release, clearly making it a promotion strategy for the film.

When contacted Asin gave a knowing smile, saying, "I will only ask you to wait and watch. Right now I am busy with an assignment so if you like to hear more please get in touch at a later time." However, when Gul Panag was asked for an opinion, She said, "I have spent some very happy moments sharing screen space with Aamir Khan. I bear no ill feelings if Asin may have been chosen, about which at present I have no update. May be the concept they have now is more suited for them as a pair."

Aamir Khan has simply gone all out to promote upcoming film and to make it a big a success as is the case with his lat movie- Taare Zameen Par. And it looks that he has been sucessful in doing so. He has generated enough curiosity around the film to draw the audiences in.

Farhan Akhtar is the brand ambassador for Maruti's A-Star

It's said that 'All it takes in Bollywood is an eternal push to hit that jackpot'. This is exactly true to the ace allrounder of bollywood Farhan Akhtar. Much before his milestone movie Rock On, Farhan was always considered to be this reclusive filmmaker. But the success of Rock On has changed things for this man in more ways than one.

After having garnered sky-high praises for his acting and singing skills, Farhan has now plunged into yet another territory: modelling. Yes Farhan will now be seen endorsing the automobile major Maruti Suzuki's latest offering, a small segment car named 'A-Star', which has a well-suited tagline 'Stop @ Nothing'.

"Yes. I am endorsing Maruti's 'A-Star'. Besides the press ads there's also a TV commercial that has been shot which will get aired by early next month." said Farhan,

If the success of Rock On was any indication of what Farhan's new-found fans are all about, then, its only about time that Maruti should surely follow our advice and make ample cars as the 'demand' will be more 'rocking' than the 'supply'.
