Rituparno Ghosh plays a Gay in Chhaya Chhobi

It seems, after Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, its Rituparno Ghosh’ turn to play a gay on the silverscreen. Abhishek and John did a beautiful gay-act in Dostana.

Now, Bengali filmmaker, Rituparno Ghosh is all set to debut as an actor with director Kaushik Ganguly's gay love story “Chhaya Chhobi”. Although Ghosh plays a director, the character is not at all inspired by him, Ganguly clarified that the character is not inspired by Ghosh's life.

Ghosh plays the role of Neel who is in love with his cameraman. But the cameraman is a bisexual and married. The movie tries to bring out loneliness and psychologically miserable life one has to live just because the society finds one’s behaviour and thought process abnormal. Ganguly wants to give a message through the film.

Raima Sen will play a researcher, while Ganguly's actor wife, Churni Ganguly, will play cameraman's spouse. The actor, who will play the cameraman, is yet to be finalised.

Bollywood hottie Deepika Padukone walked the ramp for designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil. In her usual grace, Deepika looked sleek and casual in a white tunic.

Sameera walked the ramp dressed in a dull pink evening dress with the feathery touch - signature style of the designer Falguni and Shane. She looked ravishing as the dull pink colour accentuated her complexion.

Minissha Lamba dazzled the audience as they walked in outfits designed by designers Falguni and Shane. Minissha dressed in a pearl white short dress looked very delicate with her petite frame.

Chitrangada set the ramp ablaze looking ravishing in her straight white evening gown with a plunging neck line. Accompanying the lady ware actors Sharman Joshi and Sajay Suri.

Shabana Azmi walked the ramp wearing a white flowy churidaar and kurta designed by Anita Dongre and looked as elegant as ever. And the celeb quotient was bolstered further by Boman Irani in his usual vibrant self wearing a white suit.

Riya Sen walked the ramp for Ranna Gill. Riya sashayed down the ramp wearing a heavily embellished skirt and heavy necklace. She was simply looking stunning in the mini skirt along with the beautiful neck wear.

"I had never modeled for Ranna but she told me that the dress is very trendy, fresh and sexy and 'very you'. So I thought I must do it. I am fussy about my clothes and don't usually wear a mini skirt, but this was a good opportunity,"said Riya.

They are real life sisters. But now, Raima Sen and Riya Sen are coming together in Vicky Chopra's Seasons Greetings as reel life sisters. The episodic film directed by Vicky Chopra will apparently have six stories all coming together in unexpected ways.

Raima shooting in Italy says, "Yes, Riya and I are finally coming together as sisters. But I'm yet to hear the script, though I've given the nod."

Riya speaking about the project earlier has said, "Raima and I stay together in Mumbai. There is not a thing that we don't share. All our friends are common. If she likes someone, so do I. And if I dislike someone, she doesn't have a choice. Our friends say we should have been twins."

When Shilpa and her sister Shamita came together, it was to play soutens in Deepak Tijori's Fareb.

These sisters too had offers earlier to act together. "But we were pretty sure that if and when we come together, it would have to be as sisters," said Riya.
