Abhishek-Aishwarya enjoying thier Vacation in Kerela

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after completing their first production schedule for Mani Ratnam's Ravana in Kerala are currently enjoying a short vacation.

The couple has been enjoying their well deserved break with a stay at a picturesque resort beside the famous Athirappilly waterfalls near Chalakudy town for the last two weeks. Prior to that thier schedule was quiet hectic .Finally, the couple managed to get some time off to relax and get back on the sets rejuvenated.

Also it is learnt that a tight security cordon has kept the press and the fans away from the film set, as Mani Ratnam reportedly does not want anyone to get a glimpse of the look of the film. However, Aishwarya was seen as Tamil Brahmin on the location of the shoot.

The Mani Ratnam film is supposedly a modern day adaptation of 'Ramayan', and an intense love story focused on the Ram-Sita pair, played by Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan in the Hindi version with south top star Vikram playing Ravana.

RAM & SITA OF Bollywood-ABHI ASH

Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan have been signed by noted filmmaker Mani Ratnam to play modern day Ram and Sita in his next film which will be an interpretation of the Ramayan. The duo was last seen in the role of husband and wife in Guru and their combination was appreciated a lot. On looking at their sizzling chemistry, Mani has again roped in the couple for his upcoming flick.

The shooting will start as soon as he gets dates from the duo. But it is expected to start very shortly and will go on floor early next year. Mani had also roped in popular actor Govinda for the role of Hanuman. Govinda’s manager Shashi confirmed the news, “Yes, Govinda accepted the role at the very first go. He did not even think twice as Mani Ratnam is such an eminent director and he is making a film on Ramayan. So he gave a double thumbs up.”

Not only Mani Ratnam but also filmmaker Raj Kumar Santoshi had announced his plans for making Ramayan with Ajay and Kajol Devgan in the lead.

So, let’s wait and watch who will sizzle more in the role of Ram and Sita, Ajay-Kajol or Abhishek-Aishwarya.

Abhishek annoyed by Ash's acts

Aishwarya Rai is known for her giggling. But at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards function in Bangkok earlier this month, she got into much higher spirits, say eye witnesses.

The Bachchans were staying at the plush Dusit Thani hotel in Bangkok. Just before the fashion show, before the award ceremony, Abhishek and Ash were seen coming down the steps of the hotel. The couple were accompanied by actor Kunal Kapoor.

Our source tells us that Ash seemed very high-spirited and was talking loudly. Too loud for the comfort of her husband Abhishek, apparently.

For Abhishek rebuked her for her loudness and asked her to quieten down. Meanwhile, Kunal Kapoor, obviously embarrassed at the turn of events, hurriedly bid goodbye to the couple and walked away.

After that too, Ash was in no mood to listen. Says the eyewitness, "She continued with her extra-loud self-expression, until Abhishek took her to the lobby and made her sit down there, to calm her down.

For a while, things were quiet, until Ash suddenly decided to pipe up all over again.

She continued arguing at the top of her voice, until Abhishek, sensing that the situation was getting embarrassingly out of control, beckoned his personal security guards and asked them to escort his wife to her room."

The guards followed his bidding. And all was well with the Bachchan dignity again.

Aish & Abhishek may not pair up in Future

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, whose much awaited film 'Sarkar Raj' was released Friday, does not feel that he should always be paired with his wife Aishwarya Rai in a husband and wife role.
'Just because we're husband and wife doesn't mean we should play the same roles in all our films,' Abhishek told in an interview.
Earlier, the duo was seen together in Mani Ratnam's 'Guru' in 2007.
In 'Sarkar Raj', which also stars Aishwarya and Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya has not played his wife. 'In fact there is no relationship between Aishwarya and me in 'Sarkar Raj',' Abhishek said.
The actor, who is used to experimenting with his body language and weight to get into the skin of a character, says that if the audience doesn't become one with the character while watching his film, it is his failing as an actor.

Aish-Abhishek to pair up for Talismaan

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is all set to start his forthcoming film Talismaan . Though he announced this film last year before the release of his Eklavya it took him quite long to actually start it. With the announcement of Talismaan he also informed that his favorite Amitabh Bachchan will have an influential role.

Well the latest is that the Reliance group will co produce this film along with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. According to a unit hand from VVC Productions, Chopra had a meeting with the line producers last week regarding the star cast of the film. It is believed that though he hasn’t officially announced star cast of the film, the line producers inform us that Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt have been signed to play pivotal roles in the film.

It is known that Talismaan is a romantic fantasy adventure inspired by the epic novel, Chandrakanta. It interweaves and mixes the elements of magic, fantasy and war. Abhishek will play a prince and Sanjay Dutt will be seen in negative role. Now the question is who will play the role of a princess in Talismaan . It is believed that Bachchans are keen to see Aishwarya in that role and Reliance too have no issues with it.

So will Ashiwarya be seen in Talismaan ? “Yes her name has been suggested but it seems producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is not too keen to sign her for this project.” says a unit hand. It is believed that Chopra is keen to sign newcomer Deepika Padukone and if not Deepika, he may go for a new face. It can be recalled that Vidhu Vinod Chopra wanted to cast Aishwarya for his film Kareeb opposite Bobby Deol but Aishwarya did not do it and the same role went to Neha.
Now the question is what is the reason for not signing Aishwarya for Talismaan? “Well that can be one of the reasons. Aishawarya has recently done a role of princess in Ashutosh Govarikar’s Jodha Akbar. Thus Vidhu doesn’t want to cast someone who has already played the similar role.” Informs a unit hand

Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan remained unavailable for any comment
