After Miley Cyrus’ provocative pictures were posted on Twitter by her film producer, her status as the teen queen of US has been seriously threatened.

In fact Miley’s Hannah Montana show has slipped below 2.5million viewers while iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove now leads the “tween market” with 2.7million.

Moreover, according to reports, tickets of her concerts in big city venues including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Detroit and St Louisare are still not sold-out as usual.

But the singer’s spokesman is not losing hope, he said: “There’s plenty of time and we expect full houses everywhere.”

Wal-Mart launches new fashion line with Teenage Sensation Miley Cyrus

Major fashion retailer Wal-Mart has unveiled plans to launch a fashion line with Miley Cyrus, linking itself to a top teenage pop star at about the time back-to-school shopping begins.

Cyrus, the star of the hit Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," will team with designer Max Azria, of BCBGMAXAZRIA, to create a line of budget-friendly items: graphic tees, tops, pants, shoes and accessories, all under $20.

Wal-Mart said the line will reflect the rock-n-roll roots of 16-year-old Cyrus, who has scored musical hits with her Hannah Montana albums and enjoyed strong success at box offices with her "Hannah Montana: The Movie."

Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a country singing star in his own right, famous for his country tune "Achy Breaky Heart."

Fashion designer now becomes the latest title for the teen star, who has singer, actress and author already under her belt. "I love creating looks that are all about personal expression and individuality," Cyrus said.

The line is expected to hit Wal-Mart stores in August, just in time for back-to-school shopping, and Wal-Mart also is sponsoring Cyrus’ North America concert tour that starts in September.

The Disney channel’s current favorite Miley Cyrus (daughter of eminent singer Billy Ray Cyrus) has started a controversy by appearing in compromising positions in some photo shoots. The 15 year old starlet has expressed her shock and dismay at the way her private photos have appeared in the Internet and in the upcoming issue of the Vanity Fair magazine.

The photos that have appeared in a site show her with her ex boyfriend in a close position. Another picture is even more shocking as it shows part of her undergarments. But what may cause more discontent is her upcoming series of photos shot by famous photographer Annie Leibovitz that will be published in the June edition of Vanity Fair.

The rising star has tried to defend herself saying that the magazine has offered her a raw deal. The Disney channel was quick to defend its protégé. The Vanity Fair spokespersons have countered the blame by saying that the star was well aware of the types of photo shoot and that her parents accompanied her while it took place.

Miley Cyrus Upset Over Leaked Photos

For those who think there's something scandalous going on in the photos circulating online of Miley Cyrus frolicking with a friend on a hotel floor, the "Hannah Montana" star has a message for you --" get over it.

"They're nothing bad!" the 15-year-old teen sensation told New York's Z100 radio station on Friday night.

The candid photos, which have been making the rounds online, show Miley sitting on the floor of a hotel with one of her friends getting close, goofing around and sharing a piece of candy.

But Miley maintains the snapshots are completely innocent.

"There was nothing wrong with it. It's two girls at a sleepover. And if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to?" a frustrated Miley told Z100's Niko prior to her sold-out concert at Nassau Coliseum on Friday night.

And while the young pop star might be used to all the attention, what really upsets her is that now her friend in the photo has to deal with the unwanted attention as well.

"Honestly, I just try to keep my cool. At first, I was really upset. It really sucks to be honest. It was a friend of mine that's a normal girl and " look at me getting all upset " the worst part is she has to go to school and deal with that crap," Miley continued. "I have to deal with that anyways. I deal with it all the time."

She called the blonde girl in the photos with her "one of my best friends."

So although Miley certainly isn't letting any of the gossip get in her way, it's not something she's taking lightly.

"What I decided before I came out to L.A. and started working was the minute I didn't have fun was the minute I go home. I don't want to go home, and I don't want to not do what I do, because I love it, but this... it's Satan attacking and it's just one more thing I have to deal with. But it's not something that I'm going to let slide because I really am upset about it," she concluded.
