Sameera Reddy to go de glam in Red Alert

Glam doll Sameera Reddy is all set to try something different. The sultry actress will don a de-glamourised avatar in her next venture “Red Alert” that deals with the issue of the naxal movement.

Sameera Reddy, who hails from Andhra Pradesh which is a hotbed of Naxalism, said in a press conference in Mumbai that she thoroughly enjoyed playing the role.

Sameera Reddy has been on the silver screen with her usual item numbers and it was a Bollywood shot for the Fashion Week yet again when she walked the ramp for outfits designed by designers Falguni and Shane. Another bollywood chic walking the ramp for designer duo was Minissha Lamba. Sameera and Minissha just dazzled the audience.

Sameera looked ravishing as the dull pink colour accentuated her complexion. Minissha dressed in a pearl white short dress looked very delicate with her petite frame. Sameera was dressed in a dull pink evening dress with the feathery touch - signature style of the designer duo.

Dramatic and glamorous - the creation brought out the two sides of modern woman, who is sensuous as well as sensitive and caring. Bold colours of canary yellow, shocking pinks, midnight black, deep mauves and chocolate mousse was very refreshing.

The two Bollywood beauties looked much at ease on the ramp. Minissha Lamba has recently been lauded for her roles in 'Bachna ae Haseeno' and 'Kidnap'.

Sameera Reddy becomes Brand Ambassador for Rivaaz

Sameera Reddy appeared as a judge on “Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar” on Sony Television. Now this hot babe has become the Brand Ambassador for Gitanjali's new launched brand Rivaaz.

Rivaaz apparently, is targeted to give the customers a stimulating and reasonable choice within Gold along with the assurance and legacy of the Gitanjali Group. Sameera claims that Rivaaz is a gorgeous and available in a myriad of designs with both traditional and a personal touch.

Retail division head R. K. Menon says, “Sameera was mainly selected because of her a mass appeal. Being a combination of both traditional and contemporary style, she would add to the glamour quotient of Rivaaz”.

"I enjoyed it. When you are walking for a special brand like Swarovski, when you are wearing a special crystals, it's great fun and definitely gives me a high," says she.

"It's because I like crystals and I like them because I am a very bling person. I like something splashing all the time on me. Even my sunglasses have to have something sparkling on them all the time," says she.

"I feel I have made the right choices. I chose to wear saris at film festivals abroad because the eternal sari is something I really discovered this year," says she.
