Singer Cheryl Cole has won the television personality of the year gong in Glamour magazine's Women of the Year awards.The awards are voted by the magazine’s readers and recognize the achievements of women in film, television and music, theatre, business and literature.
Former EastEnders star Michelle Ryan won UK actress of the year gong. Adele was named UK solo artist of the year, while R‘n’B singer Estelle won the editor`s special award. Katy Perry was declared Best Newcomer of the Year.
